Having spent years away from my motherland, I explore childhood, memories, and nostalgia. My work captures the longing for simpler times by delving into the mirage-like childhood recollections. I draw dreamscapes from memory gaps and create ethereal atmospheres that reflect memories after multiple layers of removal. My experience of having multiple 'homes' while struggling to belong takes form through stained surfaces and magical folk creatures, that blur the line between home and abroad, past and present, dream and reality.
