The OPEN CALL seeks to explore the current range of approaches within the medium of paint, with the aim to create visual connections between an array of contemporary painters working today. We invite Artists internationally from all backgrounds to submit their work for inclusion.

This will culminate in a curated online group exhibition to be showcased on our website and promoted through our Instagram account.

Paintingsince2000 was founded in June 2021 as an Instagram page to display contemporary painting produced since the year 2000. It has grown organically into a communal hub for viewing and sharing paintings and exhibitions from both emerging and established artists. 

Key information

The results will be announced via our Instagram feed in early December 2024.

The online exhibition will run from December 2nd 2024 until February 28th 2025.
