Sean O'Halloran
Sean’s work is concerned with light, place, and time. He is drawn to the fleeting moments that pass almost unnoticed—quiet instants witnessed only by him. Through a process of recording, remembering, and painting, he holds onto these encounters and expands them into something more enduring. Painting becomes a means of translating the shifting qualities of light and atmosphere into tangible form, a way of revisiting and deepening his experience of place. Each work emerges as both memory and exploration—part documentation, part reimagining. At its core, his practice seeks to give permanence to the transient: to hold light still for a moment longer, and to trace the subtle dialogue between time, landscape, and perception.
Degree in Fine Art - Bristol followed by a Post Gad at The RA Schools Exhibited widely through the 1990s before embarking on a period of working in the creative insudtries. Returned to painting early 2020s.
