Agnieszka Wajda-Hänninen

Agnieszka Wajda-Hänninen’s painting inhabits the edge between form and light. Working through layering and subtle modulation, she allows pigment to reveal hidden atmospheres. Her surfaces hold both calm and tension — quiet transitions, traces of movement, and moments when shape dissolves into vibration. In her recent works she explores how color, rhythm, and spatial ambiguity can evoke memory and stillness. Rather than depict, she creates spaces for pause and reflection, inviting viewers to linger within a sense of quiet presence.
